- This Christmas - 12.28.2006

Was spent in bed. Headaches, body aches, chills, hot flashes, a high fever and a sore throat. I was out of bed on Monday for a total of about 30 minutes. This year, Christmas just passed me by.

Sigh.

This morning I was still feeling weak and I was having to lay on the couch about every 5 minutes while getting ready. My Mom leaves for work about 10 minutes before I do. This morning when I went outside I noticed that my car windows had already been scraped off and I was able to just get in my car and go. My Mom is so nice, she probably didn't even think anything of it...but it made me cry. Thanks Mom.

- Christmas Time - 12.22.2006

Nothing to say today. I'm excited to have 4.5 days off for Christmas. I have all my shopping done (Ben was last, he was hard). Here's a picture of the adorable child:

Merry Christmas Everyone!

- By the Way - 12.14.2006

Nothing too exciting today. Just some quick things:

I got out of my ticket, almost. I have to pay for it but it's not on my record, I still have my license and my ridiculously high insurance isn't going to be getting any higher.

Ben is going to be here over Christmas. Am I excited? I'm not sure...

I'm all registered for school. I start January 8th. American sign language after work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Computer Information Systems after work on Mondays and Wednesdays. Sigh.

I went and saw Samantha on Sunday. She walks. How is it that my baby girl is already walking? She has the cutest personality. She's just...sweet. She loves everyone and loves hugs and kisses and she was cuddling with my Mom. She also says a few words. I'm in love.

I think that's about it, I'm not too exciting. Oh, and I'm still working on the beta thing steph.

Peace.

P.S. I've been trying to comment your blogs but it isn't letting me. It's telling me it can't log me in, even when I'm already logged in. I'm still reading them and I'll comment as soon as it lets me!

- Love On Her Arms - 12.06.2006

I was just introduced to a new movement. It's called To Write Love On Her Arms. It might be just another bunch of teenagers wanting to think they're making a difference, but for me, as a survivor...they hit home. I am now the proud owner of a To Write Love On Her Arms T-shirt and I will continue to support them.

I will say that I don't agree with everything they say, but the main idea means something. Quote from their myspace site:

"A friend of mine told me there's no such thing as suicide prevention. This is an attempt to prove him wrong, to say that love can change a life. We can hold back the darkness. Rescue is possible."

Sometimes you just need to feel like someone else gets you.

- Speed. - 12.04.2006

I drive too fast. This is an obvious fact if you have ever been a passenger in my car. I received my first ticket the first week I had my license and they have been coming in pretty steady ever since. My car insurance is ridiculous and has only become more so since I bought the new car. I was told when I bought the Mazda in September that if I was good until September 2007 my insurance would go down quite a bit and my record would be cleared.

I got a ticket going 12 over Saturday night. Next Tuesday will be spent in court begging for continued use of my beloved license. For Christmas I am getting a radar detector.

Wish me luck.

all alli.

enjoy.
